The images presented were taken in the 1990's. Taken as prints, there is degradation when going from print to digital images. Also, where we were traveling sometimes delayed processing for weeks or months and humidity played havoc with the undeveloped film. Still, I wanted to share our experiences through the pictures we took.

Winter 1992/1993 Port Annapolis Marina was beautiful and had great amenities. We spent two winters there. Winter of 92/93 was mild, but we did get snow!! This was a first for Bijou and a first for us living onboard a boat in winter where it snowed!! Our second winter in 93/94 was so cold that parts of the Chesapeake froze!! That included the area around Bijou. As the winter settled in, we nested. We bought a car, a TV and even had a phone installed on the boat. Once the holidays approached, we pulled out our decorations and made Christmas happen. It was a delight to come home and see that nestled in the slip at the marina, Bijou had red bows, her Christmas tree, and other decorations we'd used in the tropics. Somehow, it looked more festive surrounded by snow.
