The images presented were taken in the 1990's. Taken as prints, there is degradation when going from print to digital images. Also, where we were traveling sometimes delayed processing for weeks or months and humidity played havoc with the undeveloped film. Still, I wanted to share our experiences through the pictures we took.

August 1993. While in Annapolis, we wanted to take advantage of being on the East Coast and our proximity to some historical sites. One place on that list was Gettysburg. Only a couple of hours away by car, we made a short get-away to see this famous battleground. Impressive, but a stark reminder of what happened here. What differences led to the war and the cost of it in human lives. The beauty of the landscape all these years later hid the nightmare that must have been lived by the men who fought and the families whose loved ones were lost.
