Heading South again

​August 1991.  After spending nearly three months in Bahia Ballena and the Puntarenas area, we continued south to Drakes Bay and Golfito.
 
While in the wild and rugged Drakes Bay, the “thing” to do was visit the cloud (rain) forests by horse.  It was a day to remember.  We also loved to explore the nearby creeks in Clover

​Wild and remote, that area of Costa Rica was fascinating because of its remoteness.  Golfito brought some sense of civilization.  Friendships deepened, especially with those who were going to go through the Panama Canal.  Our favorite hangout to talk plans was the Jungle Club.  Great food and of course beer!!

We had a wonderful time exploring the south west corner of Costa Rica.  Our last port of call was Golfito.  Our favorite hang out was the Jungle Club.  Great place for eat, drink and socialize.
