Local travel from annapolis

Fall of 1992 to Spring of 1994.  While berthed at the Port Annapolis Marina, we did some local traveling.  Once we purchased our Toyota, we were able to explore more than what was right around the boat.   So much history was so close, we were compelled to check out as much as we could.

Our trip to Washington D.C. was wonderful.  We were impressed with the size and scope of our national monuments.  ​Gave us both goosebumps.

One trip into Washington D.C. was in Spring of 1993 at the time when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Jefferson Memorial off in the distance. What a site!!

A must see for us was the Vietnam Memorial. Very sobering and even with all these people looking on, it was very quiet.
