July/August 1996.  As July moved into August, we continued exploring the islands off Maine.  They are a great cruising ground, even if a little challenging due to currents and weather patterns.  We discovered several favorite places.  One of them was Mt. Desert Island.  We anchored in many bays and explored many of the small towns and villages.  It was a wonderful island to spend time.
