The images presented were taken in the 1990's. Taken as prints, there is degradation when going from print to digital images. Also, where we were traveling sometimes delayed processing for weeks or months and humidity played havoc with the undeveloped film. Still, I wanted to share our experiences through the pictures we took.
August 1994 Burnt Coal Harbor on Swan Island. While we were anchored, dozens of schooners came in as part of the Windjammer Cruises. They were there for the Folk Festival being held that weekend. What an awesome site!! August 1994. On to the next island. Crotch Island in Merchant Row. Known for its granite quarry. The man in the picture below is cutting granite using a high-powered air wand.
